More specifically, it's way the Second Amendment ("A well
regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state,
the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed") is interpreted by its proponents.
and it is interpreted by the nutcases in the NRA as the right to
be able to buy, use and carry any type of firearms they feel like,
wherever the hell they feel like and not to have any restrictions
whatsoever...
so if they had their way, people could be walking around
slinging Barrett 0.5 sniper rifles with military grade ammunition,
assault rifles and if they want to, RPGs and grenade
launchers...
